Compliance Officer

Our law firm client are seeking a Compliance Officer to support them on a project due to run for approximately one month.
A law degree (LLB) or relevant compliance qualifications (e.g. ICA) would be beneficial, but relevant law firm compliance / AML experience is the priority.

Key Responsibilities

Applicants will support the firm with:

• Compliance administration and project support
• Reviewing and updating compliance policies and procedures
• Supporting AML processes (CDD, risk assessments, file checks)
• Assisting with GDPR / data protection compliance tasks
• Maintaining compliance registers and internal documentation
• Supporting internal audits, monitoring, and reporting
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure processes are followed

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a compliance role within a law firm or regulated professional services environment
• Strong knowledge of AML and regulatory compliance requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage documentation accurately
• Confident communicating with fee earners and support teams

You must be available to start at short notice.
