Owing to volume of work, our law firm client have a vacancy for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal or Legal Assistant in its Taunton office. 
To apply you should be confident managing a busy workload and used to using your own initiative. 

Here you will work directly with the Head of New Homes and other members of the residential conveyancing department 

You will act for clients when they are buying from national and regional developers 
You should be able to assist in the progression of conveyancing & new homes transactions to include:

• Preparation of draft Contract Papers
• Dealing with sale enquiries
• Ordering searches
• Exchanges and completions to include drafting completion statements, preparing SDLT Forms, Land Registry searches
• Post completion matters
• Deal with telephone calls in a confident manner providing clear, accurate and up to date information
• Produce documents using the firm’s case management software
